Germany – Hungary EURO 2024 Preview
Germany will look for another win when they face Hungary in Stuttgart in a fixture from Group A of the Euro 2024. We believe it’s the perfect moment to keep up with us and our free soccer predictions for today.
The Mannschaft impressed everyone with its performance in the opening match of the competition. Julian Nagelsmann’s boys humiliated Scotland with a 5-1 win at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Florian Wirtz opened the score for the host nation while Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, Niclas Fullkrug and Emre Can finished the job.
It won’t be surprising if Nageslmann pick the same line-up from the first match – he doesn’t have a reason to make any changes. The two youngsters Musiala and Wirtz look untouchable in the line-up while the veterans Toni Kroos and Ilkay Gundogan are the engines in the midfield. What Nagelsmann could do is eventually try Fullkrug at the top of the attack instead of Kai Havertz.
Hungary conceded a defeat in their opening game in the Euro – 1-3 against Switzerland. Marco Rossi’s team didn’t play its best game and it was obvious. Barnabas Varga scored one of the Madjars after an assist from Szoboszlai, but it was far from enough for the Hungarians to claim at least a point.
Hungary’s Italian manager could be making changes against the Mannschaft on Wednesday. Bolla, Kleinheisler, Adam and Marton Dardai are among the players who could eventually find a place in the line-up against Germany.
Dominik Szoboszlai remains Hungary’s leader. The Liverpool ace made an assist for the team’s only goal against Switzerland. Now he has to show his best levels again.
In our free soccer predictions for today we can conclude that Germany are red hot favorites to take the win against Hungary – a win that would send them to the knockout phase. Nagelsmann’s team showed a pretty good face in its first match against Scotland. Hungary look in trouble here.
